Boat History:   Magic was built in France in 1992 by Jeantot Marine and entered the Caribbean charter trade.  She was purchased in Fort Lauderdale in 1998 by owner #2.  A complete refit of the boat was undertaken.  She was moved by Dockwise Transport to Lazaro Cardenos, Mexico and sailed via Hawaii to Seattle.  Owner #2 lived aboard her in Seattle and brought her to Mexico in 2001.  We are owner #3 and purchased the boat in Mexico in 2010.  The boat has been used seasonally in Mexico since 2001.

As new owners, we prioritized our work to address deferred maintenance, sail options and engine reliability underway, power consumption, safety, and overall live ability.  The significant projects are described in separate postings.

Bottom line:  Magic has been cruised extensively throughout Mexico for more than 12 years with 2 owners.  All her gear and capabilities are optimized for cruising and are well proven.  Magic is ready to go NOW with new owners!!
