2010-2011: Work on Magic

Significant work was completed on Magic over the last several years.  As we took ownership, we prioritized the work to address deferred maintenance, power consumption, safety, and overall live ability.

2010-2011
The galley remodel features new formica counters, one large stainless steel sink, Webasto Isotherm cruise refrigerator, extensive IKEA shelves and draws in pantry, and LED lights.

Galley with new counters, large sink, a super efficient fridge.

Anchoring platform upgraded with larger and greater variety of anchors.  The primary anchor is a Rocna 55 on 225 feet of 3/8 inch BBB chain.

A Viking RescYou 4 Person Liferaft in canister was acquired.  The canister stores in a cockpit lazarette -- protected from sun but easy to "drop out" if ever required.  The Liferaft will need to be re-inspected by the buyer.

Multiple stainless steel projects were completed.  The key projects included:  converting the cockpit lifelines to stainless tubing, adding custom kayak holders to the side stanchions, adding stern steps (with plastic step), additional side bracing for the wind generator, and adding parachute anchor deployment attachment points on bows.
Stainless life lines great for securing gear & reaching out to clean the solar panels!

Added an interim step up into the cockpit.
